Just received this note about a Halloween special:

Dear Lee:

I am writing to pass along the news that Suzy McKee Charnas's "Vampire
Dreams," a play she adapted from her Nebula Award-winning third chapter of
The Vampire Tapestry, will be broadcast on KPFK on Halloween evening, October
31, 9 pm Pacific Time as part of the station's fund drive. Director Tim
Forrest and his Nevertheless Audio Productions produced the program. KPFK is
a Pacifica non-commercial station. KPFK 90.7 fm reaches most of southern
California, while KPFK 98.7 fm reaches Santa Barbara.

SciFiArchive's visitors can go to
www.suzymckeecharnas.com/Biblio_VampDreams.html if they are interested in
learning more about Charnas's play and reading a scene from it. "Vampire
Dreams" has been previously performed on stage in California, New Mexico, and
New York to rave reviews.

Readers can learn more about the novel, The Vampire Tapestry, from which
"Vampire Dreams" was adapted, by accessing
www.suzymckeecharnas.com/biblio_tapestry.html. The page provides a free
excerpt of the novel and critical reviews.

For more information about KPFK, readers can visit the station's official
website at http://www.kpfk.org. Vampire enthusiasts can access the broadcast
on Halloween evening by visiting the station's website at the appropriate
hour for their
time-zone and clicking on "Listen Live" on the menu bar to the left.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

All best,
