Angels

Angels as they were know in the 'crete slang, was taken from the Twen'cen song "Earth Angel" as they were assigned to be responsible for protecting the last of the Earth's 'Greens'. The Greens are the last green, growing areas literally encased in miles of super-strong, woven monofilament sheets to protect them from the constant storms and DNA damaging high levels of ulta violet energy streaming through the destroyed O3-ozone shield.

The Earth Angels were emancipated teenagers that were retired at 30 because they would be going through the great mind-change that leads to the over-whelming desire for material possessions and they could no longer be trusted to protect the Greens from the Green Dependent Life poachers and GreenDNA thieves. Of course, not even retirement at thirty would protect the Greens entirely.
